As stated on Jeff Beehler's blog, the team recently discovered that the VPC will expire prematurely on November 1, 2007. You are recommended to perform immediate backup of your TFS databases to avoid loosing your work while waiting for the updated VPC to become available.

Having said that, upon expiration, you will still be able to use the VPC for 2 hours before you need to reboot.
